A l'École de Danse de l'Opéra de Paris, c'est l'effervescence. Les filles de la 6e division, les plus jeunes de l'école, sont en compétition pour deux rôles dans un ballet à Garnier. Alors, une fois la journée finie, Zoé se déchaîne : elle est de tous les mauvais coups, se relève la nuit, chahute, fait de petites bêtises... jusqu'au jour où elle dépasse les bornes et abîme un costume hors de prix. Cet accident va lui faire réaliser qu'elle peut danser avec rigueur.

Pour tous ses amis, Constance est un modèle de perfection et de sérieux. Elle n'en parle pas, mais elle ne s'accorde pas le droit à l'erreur.
