The Mummy!: A Tale of the Twenty-Second Century is a science-fiction classic. First published in 1827, it tells the story of a mummy from Cheops that is brought back to life in the year 2126.

A scientist attempts to contact the outside world and seeks an important missing manuscript, while a beautiful and ruthless young woman unwittingly gives an evil recluse a powerful secret. A love triangle is exploited by this unscrupulous man, who steals the secret for himself.
