When is a story more than just a story? When does it become a myth? When it holds a piece of truth about our history, our morality, and the cosmos. Throughout history, humankind has used stories to explain the unknown. From the cycle of the moon to the changing of the seasons, tales about supernatural beings and events have served to account for the purpose of the cosmos. But mythology isn’t entirely fiction. These stories have been passed down for generations for a reason.

The Egyptians were a visionary people. They had Seers, what they called "Peter" in Egyptian. What scholars refer to as myths are in reality prophesies and therefore can be referred to as scripture. One such prophesy has to do with the Egyptian god Osiris. The Greek historian Plutarch wrote about the death of Osiris beyond what the Egyptian texts do. In his account Osiris was the king of Egypt.

From my books from the Translating the Hieroglyphic Vignettes series, I demonstrate how to translate the Egyptian illustrations containing deities. I pointed out that this was how Joseph Smith translated his Book of Abraham text. And I pointed out that Joseph Smith's translation was not complete. I therefore make a more complete textual translation of the facsimiles and other vignettes from the Book of Breathings and maybe even the Book of the Dead papyri.

On April 1st, 2016 Travis Wayne Goodsell gave an entire symposium by himself. The subject was the Book of Abraham. Travis' discovery of how Joseph Smith made his translation explains the mystery of Joseph's work. Lecture five is about how facsimile number three in the Book of Abraham can be identified within the translation of the Book of Mormon. Facsimile number three is a representation of the Egyptian Temple ritual, called the Judgment Scene.

A book of powerful, practical prayers and rites for use against the forces of evil. This book is a collection of prayers to help liberate people from the power of the kingdom of darkness and its servants. Salvation, baptism, communion, exorcism, destroying the power of curses, and so on.

James and Jude had not been disciples, but were educated by those that followed Moses law. Jesus appeared to James after his resurrection. That was when James completely believed this man he had grown up with was really the son of God. Jude calls himself the brother of James.

As a young foreigner in Egypt, Joseph succeeded against overwhelming odds. Uprooted from his family in Canaan and sold as a slave in Egypt, he made the best of unpromising situations. Sold to Potiphar as a field hand, he worked diligently and soon became overseer of Potiphar's entire estate. Though innocent of any wrongdoing, Potiphar's wife accused him of attempted rape, and Potiphar threw him into a prison house.

As the title suggests, Wright examines the similarities between the Druids and a wide variety of their contemporaries, such as the Indian Brahmans, who share a number of religious symbols and practices. There is a fair amount of discussion regarding the symbol of the oak tree in both Druidism and Judaism as well as other faiths.

Annie Besant was a writer, lecturer, prominent Theosophist, and women's rights activist of her time. She was a frequent contributor to various Theosophical publications of her day. This particular piece dates to 1913, and she's writing about the Ancient Mysteries as compared to the modern religions of the world. She also discusses the Great White Brotherhood, Initiation, the Rosicrucians, Madame Blavatsky, and other related topics.

Capitular Masonry is the second stage or section in the Masonic progress of the York Rite. It suffers often, and is frequently too lightly esteemed as an intermediate series of degrees between Blue Lodge Masonry and the Templar Orders of the Commandery. But, it is full of meaning and contains within itself lessons fully as important as can anywhere be found.

Mackey examines the popular belief among scholars of his day that the rites of Freemasonry are remnants of ancient Druids ceremonies, or that at the very least the ceremonies of the two share a common origin, such as the pagan mysteries, travelling Buddhists, or perhaps the Phoenicians. In doing so, he gives an excellent history lesson on who the Druids were and what their initiation ceremonies were like.

Not simply satisfied with the signs, grips and words of workmen at temples, from a bygone past, the author wants to know what lies beyond these pedestrian tales told to the newly made mason, of our history. Brother Bush engages in justifiable pride examining the mysteries of ancient Egypt and Greece, which span centuries and helped to carve the path, which gave way for our modern fraternity. What are masonry's ties to the ancient Rites of Eleusis?

Westcott begins by reminding us that when we first enter into our Masonic initiation, as the candidate, we represent the rough ashlar, the unfinished stone. From there, he proceeds to point out a vast number of Biblical references to stones, while reminding us, that the worship of stones is one of the earliest forms of religious observance. Brother Westcott details at great length, examples of the importance of stones throughout history and across the globe.

The Bible tells us that God created us in the Garden of Eden. Scientific evidence points to us evolving from lower animals. Eden Evolution analyzes the dichotomies between the two and suggests how both can be correct.

I grew up in the Bible Belt of Mississippi, and the Christian beliefs were instilled in me from the very beginning. But my astrophysics education and career in aerospace made me begin to question just who God really is. Ancient fossil finds and the growing beliefs in evolution convinced me that the Bible’s stories of creation cannot be taken literally. My search revealed to me the scientific God of creation, the creator of the universe and everything in it. This new scientific insight shows that the Bible is a very good analogy of how the heavens and the earth and all on earth were created.

The enduring question has been: "Where did Cain get his wife?" The churches have not given an acceptable answer to this question. Their inability to answer this question creates great doubt as to the accuracy of the Bible. More and more Christians are giving up on defending the Bible. It is vitally important for Christians to be able to answer this question because it relates to defending the fact that all humans are descendants of Adam and Eve, and only their descendants can be saved. Cain's wife has been talked about in countries all over the world for hundreds of years.

Centuries before whisperings began, of secret knowledge being handed down from the ancient Greeks, through shrouded fraternities such as the Rosicrucians and Freemasons, the Druids were slowly and steadfastly creating priests and philosophers of their own, akin to the Brahmans of India, the Magi of the Persians, as well as the hierophants and scholars of what would eventually become known to the world as the Western Mystery Tradition.

In presenting The Life and Teaching of the Masters of the Far East, I wish to state that I was one of a research party of 11 persons that visited the Far East in 1894. During our stay - three and a half years - we contacted the Great Masters of the Himalayas, who aided us in the translation of the records, which was of great assistance in our research work. They permitted us to enter into their lives intimately and we were thus able to see the actual working of the great Law as demonstrated by them.
