Steve is back and ready for more adventures! But this time the excitement lands closer to home. While walking home from the village, Steve is surprised to hear a loud BOOM! When he returns home, he finds his wheat farm destroyed and a huge crater where the wheat once grew. And his diamond sword is missing! Steve believes it's the act of a griefer with a lot of TNT. Devastated, Steve wants to rebuild and find his sword, but with his wheat destroyed, he must call on old friends to help him.

Season Two begins! As Book 21 of the Surfer Villager series opens, several years have passed since the events of Book 20 and the world of Minecraft is finally recovering from the evils of Entity 303 and Lamashtu. The world is calm and stable. War is a distant memory. Commerce and art flourish. Jimmy and his friends are living their best lives, surfing and hustling emeralds.

Steve has kept himself quite busy, being the only builder in the world...It's a fact. No matter how hard he has tried in the past, the villagers never catch on. So resigned to being the only one with his incredible, if he does say so himself, skill, Steve has settled into retirement from being an adventurer and instead turned to building. After all, he’s defeated the Ender Dragon, explored sunken ships, and even gone on a mad run through the Nether. There can’t be much left to do, can there?
