Some losses leave you without words. Sometimes, kindness helps you find your voice. Twelve-year-old Malachi often feels isolated. But being twelve means she has to have some patience, which she’s totally fine with until the farm owners hire a new breeding manager, who comes with an older daughter who can do all the things Izzy can’t yet. Suddenly, Izzy is drowning in jealousy. And when the farm purchases a new horse that might be a real contender to beat Izzy’s favorite racehorse, Gray Fox, in the biggest race of the season, her worries start to spiral.
