Slutty Cheff is an anonymous London chef who knows what it’s really like to work in the capital's hectic restaurant scene. From working sixty-hour weeks in windowless kitchens and being the only woman in the changing room to the pure thrill of a busy service, falling in love with other chefs and cycling home through a city bubbling over with potential, Slutty Cheff’s misadventures in food and sex are about experiencing and embracing life to the fullest. When Slutty Cheff finds herself bored and fed-up with her 9–5 job in corporate marketing, she turns to the only thing that she really likes to do: cooking. So she quits her job, swaps emails for emulsions, and sets off to pursue her dreams of becoming a chef.

These essays are ultimately designed for long term members of 12 step fellowships to help them be better sponsors and to help them be of service to others without allowing it to become their whole identity. In recovery, we get a chance to help others, but, in attempting to do so, we end up making mistakes, and coming face to face with our own characters defects. Service to other is a chance for us to exercise our own personal demons.
