Chapters begin with specific definitions of racism before exploring specific challenges that Black men face, such as racial discrimination and health, trauma, criminalization, and more.

This essay provides specific information on the effects of being an undocumented immigrant throughout the various stages of life. In other words, the effects of being an undocumented immigrant from the stages of early childhood, youth or adolescence, adulthood, and then to late or older adulthood.
