[ ep 8 ] this one is for the chronically lonely people – like me! friends…this one is confessional… and conversational. if you want to feel like a friend is opening up to you about something real…here it is.
typically I never like to spread negativity via “complaining", but it’s for the sake of people needing to feel understood if they’re experiencing something similar (also for the sake of analyzing the human condition as usual, right).
do you feel socially frustrated? like you want to have meaningful conversations and connections with people but find it difficult?
finding social fulfilment in the modern world can be a struggle. today, we’re gonna break down some of the reasons why. a few examples: people being ingenuine with curated personas, having selfish motives, or being emotionally reactive. feeling the pressure to be entertaining enough to keep someone's attention, the pressure of conforming in order to social signal
no wonder we feel like the world is lacking light or why we feel lonely. we are craving authentic relationships and to be honest, a lot of my interactions with people leave me feeling a bit empty.
I think another reason why we feel so lonely is because current reality is far from what our brains are socially used to like living on the land and in small communities. let me tell you why I crave that just about every day
I hope you enjoy it :)
