We look at why the contract could age extremely well, why Buium might already be underrated, what he still needs to improve, and who the Canucks should eventually pair with him on defence. We also get into his leadership potential, whether he could become Vancouver’s next captain, and Deaner makes a prediction on whether Buium can eventually break Quinn Hughes’ franchise scoring record for a Canucks defenceman.
