  • Nashville/Pittsburgh Country Rock interview | Dylan Bradley | PA Scene | the Pennsylvania Rock Show 846
    2026/09/29

On Episode 846 of the Pennsylvania Rock Show, Bill Domiano sits down with Nashville-based country artist Dylan Bradley, a Western Pennsylvania native whose music connects the sounds, stories, and experiences of home with the songwriting traditions of Nashville.

Raised in Oakdale, Pennsylvania, just outside Pittsburgh, Dylan Bradley grew up surrounded by music. His early influences ranged from country favorites like Brooks & Dunn to rock artists including Pearl Jam and Meat Loaf. When his grandmother bought him his first guitar at just eight years old, she helped set the foundation for a musical journey that would eventually take Dylan from Western Pennsylvania to Nashville, Tennessee.

Dylan began performing in school talent shows before taking music more seriously in high school with November Blue. What started as a duo eventually developed into a major chapter of Dylan's musical career. He began writing songs while attending college and working on the band's first album, carrying that experience with him when he moved to Nashville in 2019.

For more than six years, Dylan performed with November Blue while becoming immersed in Nashville's songwriting, recording, and live music communities. Playing multiple nights every week transformed music from a passion into a profession. The experience also helped Dylan develop his identity as a songwriter and discover the confidence, honesty, and personality that now define his solo music.

As a solo artist, Dylan released Keystone Kid, an album that reflects his Pennsylvania upbringing and the real-life experiences that continue to influence his songwriting. His music blends modern country, Americana, country rock, and singer-songwriter storytelling, creating songs that connect personal experiences with universal emotions.

Dylan's journey has also taken him to some impressive stages and venues, including the Ryman Auditorium, PPG Paints Arena, The Pavilion at Star Lake, Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint, and Jergel's Rhythm Grille. He has also worked as a guitarist with rising country artist Lakelin Lemmings.

Now Dylan Bradley is entering another chapter of his career, bringing everything he has learned in Western Pennsylvania and Nashville into music that feels distinctly his own. His influences include Morgan Wallen, Stephen Wilson Jr., and Ruston Kelly, while his songwriting focuses on memorable melodies, authentic experiences, relationships, hometowns, growing up, and the roads that lead us back to where we started.

A major part of that new chapter is Dylan's upcoming single "Read My Mind," scheduled for release September 25. The song originated during a month-long songwriting challenge between friends and was inspired by a new relationship that felt almost impossibly natural. Two people finishing each other's sentences, seeing life from the same perspective, and beginning to imagine what a future together might look like became the foundation for the song.

On this episode of the Pennsylvania Rock Show, get to know Dylan Bradley, hear about his journey from Oakdale to Nashville, his years with November Blue, his evolution as a songwriter and solo artist, his Pennsylvania roots, his Nashville experiences, and the story behind his upcoming music.

If you enjoy country music, Americana, Nashville artists, Pittsburgh musicians, Pennsylvania music, independent country artists, singer-songwriters, country rock, acoustic music, and authentic storytelling, Episode 846 is one you will want to hear.

  • Nashville Rock interview | Adjustable Mustard | PA Scene | the Pennsylvania Rock Show 844
    2026/09/21

Tonight on Episode 845 of the Pennsylvania Rock Show, Bill sits down with Adjustable Mustard, a Nashville-based psychedelic rock duo creating a dense, hypnotic, fuzz-drenched sound that blurs the lines between psychedelic rock, garage rock, alternative rock, and experimental music.

Built around the introspective, train-of-thought vocals of Katie Pitts and the expansive instrumentation of multi-instrumentalist Will White, Adjustable Mustard creates music that feels less constructed than discovered. Surreal female vocals, swampy guitar tones, distorted textures, psychedelic soundscapes, and an intuitive approach to songwriting combine to create a sound that is unmistakably their own.

Originally formed in 2016 in Auburn, Alabama, Adjustable Mustard developed its musical identity through psychedelic experimentation and a shared creative process. After recording their debut EP, Whatever's Clever, the project went through a period of personal upheaval that eventually brought the band to a halt. Although the EP remained dormant for years, that experience became an important part of the band's creative evolution.

Now based in Nashville, Katie Pitts and Will White have returned with a renewed focus. In 2024, Adjustable Mustard released the companion EPs Your Love and Pure Love, earning attention within the underground psychedelic music community. In 2025, the duo followed those releases with their first full-length album, further establishing their identity and expanding their psychedelic rock sound.

With another full-length album scheduled for release in fall 2026, Adjustable Mustard continues pushing its music into new territory. Their collaborative songwriting process relies heavily on intuition, shared inspiration, and what the duo describes as a connection to a shared muse. Rather than forcing songs into a predetermined formula, the music develops organically through experimentation and collaboration.

During this episode of the Pennsylvania Rock Show, Bill and Adjustable Mustard explore the band's history, musical influences, recording process, songwriting philosophy, and evolution from Auburn, Alabama to Nashville, Tennessee. They also discuss what it means to create psychedelic rock in today's independent music landscape and what listeners can expect from the band's upcoming 2026 album.

For fans of psychedelic rock, fuzz rock, alternative rock, experimental rock, female-fronted rock, underground music, Nashville rock, indie rock, garage rock, and independent musicians, Episode 845 offers an inside look at a band creating music outside the conventional boundaries.

Turn it up, get lost in the fuzz, and discover Adjustable Mustard on the Pennsylvania Rock Show.

The conversation explores the band's debut album, Chapter One, the creative vision behind the project, their newest music video, and what comes next for The Velvet Drip.
