If you're ready to stop living by everyone else's expectations and start creating a life that feels authentic, intentional, and fully your own, you're in the right place.

Say YES to Yourself! is a personal growth podcast for women navigating life's transitions and asking, "What's next for me?" Through honest conversations and inspiring stories, host Wendy Harrop interviews women who have reinvented themselves, trusted their intuition, overcome life's challenges, and created meaningful change—one courageous yes at a time.

Every Wednesday and Friday, Wendy sits down with authors, entrepreneurs, coaches, creatives, and everyday women to share honest conversations about personal growth, life transitions, and what's possible when you choose yourself.

Whether you're navigating a career change, an empty nest, divorce, burnout, caregiving, entrepreneurship, or simply feeling like you've lost yourself, this podcast will remind you that your next chapter is still waiting to be written.

You'll find conversations about:

  • Personal growth and self-discovery
  • Reinvention and life's transitions
  • Building confidence and trusting yourself
  • Purpose, fulfillment, and intentional living
  • Career changes and entrepreneurship
  • Relationships, boundaries, and people-pleasing
  • Divorce, grief, healing, and resilience
  • Creativity, courage, and living boldly
  • Women's empowerment and authentic leadership

This podcast explores questions like:

• How do I reinvent myself when life no longer fits?

• How do I stop people-pleasing and start trusting myself?

• How do I rebuild after divorce, grief, or a major life transition?

• How do I find purpose in my next chapter?

• How do I create a life that feels aligned instead of expected?

• How do I build confidence after years of putting everyone else first?

• Is it too late to change careers, start a business, or follow a dream?

• How do I reconnect with the woman I've become?

If you're looking for encouragement, practical wisdom, and real stories from women who have chosen themselves—and found something even better on the other side—welcome.

Your best chapter doesn't happen by accident.

It begins the moment you say YES to yourself.

  • When Your Surroundings Don't Match What You Want | Sonya Weisshappel

Fan Mail: Tell Wendy how you're saying yes to yourself!

What if your next chapter could be born in a beautiful city… while you gave yourself permission to dream? Space to Dream Global Workshops: wendy-harrop.com/experiences-cart/p/space-to-dream-global

Sonya Weisshappel calls herself the Chaos Whisperer, and her business card should probably read more like a dictionary than a title — she helps people move through major life transitions by starting with what's actually around them, whether that's a friend circle that no longer fits or a lifetime of inherited belongings nobody's touched since a loved one died.

In this episode, Sonya and Wendy explore:

    • Why it's okay to let go of relationships that used to be a match and no longer are, and how to trust that shift without needing to explain it
    • The disconnect Sonya sees constantly between what someone says they want and what their actual physical surroundings are set up to support
    • How organizing a closet, a junk drawer, or a lifetime of inherited belongings is rarely just about the stuff, and why the physical work often opens a side door into grief that talk therapy alone doesn't always reach

Sonya's approach isn't about decluttering, or networking, for their own sake. It's about recognizing that your surroundings — people included — should actually reflect what you want now, not just what you've always had.

  • Perfectionism: Why Your Brain Thinks It's Keeping You Safe | Martine Cohen
    2026/08/28

Fan Mail: Tell Wendy how you're saying yes to yourself!

Check out the new website: www.wendy-harrop.com

Martine Cohen didn't set out to rethink her relationship with rest. Instead, a serious car accident and concussion forced the issue, stopping her in her tracks until she had no choice but to listen to her body in a way she'd ignored for years. She's since built her work, including her book No More Layers, around exactly that: understanding why we override our own needs, and how to stop. In this episode, Martine and Wendy explore:

    • Why perfectionism isn't a personality trait but a safety mechanism the brain built to avoid rejection, and why that mechanism can never actually be satisfied
    • The small, consistent rituals Martine uses to reset her nervous system daily, and why tiny, repeated habits do more than one big gesture ever could
    • Why so many women only give themselves permission to ask for help when something has gone wrong, and never when things are going well

Martine's approach isn't about overhauling your whole life overnight. It's about noticing the habits you already have, deciding which ones are actually serving you, and building new ones in their place, one small, repeatable choice at a time.

  • How to Return to Your Feminine Nature and Reclaim Your Power | Chelsea Ann
    2026/08/26

Fan Mail: Tell Wendy how you're saying yes to yourself!

Chelsea Ann was married to a man whose company sold for nearly a billion dollars. Homes across the world, nannies, staff, every material thing money could buy. Then came a prayer at the base of the Dalai Lama's temple, and nine months later she found herself at the Great Pyramid, hearing from a man who told her she'd spend her life teaching women something else entirely: how to return to their own nature.

In this episode, Chelsea Ann and Wendy explore:

    • What it actually looked like to walk away from a life of extreme wealth instead of toward one, and why she never expected the prayer to actually be answered
    • The gap she kept finding in how women are taught, or not taught, to become mothers, and why she wrote her first two books to fill it
    • How her work as a menopause practitioner and her spiritual teaching intersect, and why she believes "returning to a woman's nature" is an actual practice, not just a metaphor

Chelsea Ann's story isn't a rags-to-riches arc, or even a riches-to-rags one. It's what happens when someone decides the life everyone else is chasing isn't the one she wants, even without a clear picture of what comes next.
