Do you ever feel like you have a bajillion tabs open in your mind?
Between motherhood, marriage, household responsibilities, choosing curriculum, figuring out what to feed your family, and all the other things life throws at you, it can be hard to keep your focus where it needs to be.
And sometimes, without even realizing it, we begin to drift.
In this episode of in case i forget, we're jumping back into Hebrews 3 and looking at what it means to consider Jesus, our apostle and high priest. We'll talk about our heavenly calling, why Jesus is worthy of more glory than Moses, and the encouragement we can find in knowing that Christ is the one who sustains us.
I share why I love the reminder to focus on Jesus rather than allowing the waves around us to pull our attention away from Him. Because while we may feel overwhelmed by everything we're trying to carry, we can trust the One who is holding us.
We'll also talk about what this passage means for us as busy wives, moms, and women trying to faithfully walk out the lives God has given us.
And before we go, I'll leave you with a journal prompt to help you reflect on where your focus may be wavering and how your heavenly calling can anchor you when life would have you drift away.
in case i forget: Jesus is the Great Apostle and High Priest of my confession. He is the author and the finisher of my faith.
I'm so glad you're here. Let's open our Bibles and grow together.
If this episode encourages you, please leave a review and share it with someone who needs the reminder.
