Finding community as an adult can feel a lot harder than it should.

When you're a mom, a wife, a college student, starting a new job, moving to a new city, or simply walking through a new season of life, making friends can easily fall to the bottom of the list. But that doesn't mean we're meant to do life alone.

In this episode of in case i forget, we're getting practical about where we can actually go to find community.

I’m sharing some of the places where I’ve personally found friendship, from a breastfeeding support group after having my son, to hobbies, book clubs, pickleball, pen pals, library programs, and church. Some of these opportunities are free, and some take a little more intentionality, but they all have something in common: they put you in spaces with people who are also looking for connection.

We’ll talk about why picking up a hobby can be more than just learning something new, how writing letters can create unexpected connection even from hundreds of miles away, and why church is about more than simply attending a service.

And I want you to remember this:

There are places all around you with people who are looking for people like you.

You may have to put in some work. You may have to walk into a room where you don't know anyone. You may have to open the door before you know exactly what will happen.

But you are not alone.
