Today, the sky is cloudy, and the air feels a little hot and humid.

Interestingly, I can’t find any spider webs on my Serissa today!

Previously, I noticed several spider webs, but they seem to have disappeared.

Where did the spiders go? 🕷️

🌸 Asahiyama Sakura — Japanese Cherry Blossom Bonsai

The rope holding the moss in place is beginning to fray and loosen.

I’ll continue watching how the moss and the tree change over time.

For 373 days, I have continued watching my Asahiyama Sakura and Serissa. 🌸🌿

Through rain, sunshine, changing seasons, new growth, and quiet days, these two small trees have continued their journey.

Looking back reminds me that even when nothing seems to happen, nature is always moving little by little.

“The spring breeze brings harmony.”

Growth does not need to be rushed. Sometimes, simply giving nature time is enough.

For 311 days, I have continued observing my Asahiyama Sakura and Serissa. 🌸🌿

The leaves, branches, moss, weather, and seasons have slowly changed. Some days brought visible changes, while others seemed almost the same.

But every ordinary day has become part of this 311-day story.

“Mountains are mountains, and water is water.”

To see nature simply as it is, without forcing it to be something else.

Rather than searching far away for an answer, simply look at what is right in front of you.

150 days ago, my Asahiyama Sakura and Serissa looked different from today. 🌸🌿

When I look back, I notice small changes in the leaves, branches, moss, and overall appearance of the trees. Day by day, these changes are easy to miss, but after 150 days, they become part of a much bigger story.

“Even rushing water does not carry away the moon.”

Time continues to flow, and the seasons keep changing. But by observing my bonsai every day, I can preserve these small moments and see how nature slowly transforms.

🌿 100 Days Ago — My Bonsai Journey

100 days ago, my Asahiyama Sakura and Serissa looked a little different from today. 🌸🌿

Looking back at these trees reminds me how slowly, quietly, and beautifully bonsai changes. At first, the differences may seem very small, but when I compare the past with the present, I can see how much has happened over time.

The leaves may have changed, new buds may have appeared, and the branches may have slowly developed their shape. Even the moss, the soil, the light, and the tiny creatures living around the trees become part of the bonsai’s story.

Bonsai teaches me that growth does not always happen quickly or dramatically. Sometimes, the most important changes are almost invisible from one day to the next. That is why continuing to observe, care for, and appreciate the trees is so meaningful.

Zen phrase: 春来草自生 — Haru Kitarite Kusa Onozukara Shōzu

“When spring comes, the grass grows naturally.”

This phrase reminds us that nature has its own timing. We do not need to force everything to grow faster. With patience, care, and the right conditions, each tree will develop in its own way.

Looking back after 100 days makes me appreciate the quiet passage of time and the small moments that are easy to overlook. My job is simply to keep observing, caring, and learning from nature.
