Scott Horton, director of the Libertarian Institute and longtime host of The Scott Horton Show, for a wide-ranging conversation on American foreign policy, war, intelligence, and the decisions that have shaped the Middle East over the last several decades.

Scott breaks down with host Michael Mendy the road to the Iraq War, the intelligence failures and political narratives surrounding weapons of mass destruction, and the strange role played by the Iraqi informant known as “Curveball.” The conversation also explores the history of U.S. policy toward Israel, the influence of the 1996 A Clean Break strategy paper, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the broader consequences of American interventionism.

Beyond individual conflicts, Scott discusses how foreign policy decisions are made in Washington, why failed policies can survive for decades, and how intelligence, ideology, lobbying, media, and political incentives intersect when the United States goes to war.

A conversation about Iraq, Israel, intelligence, empire, and the stories governments tell before, during, and after a war.

Scott “Gandhi” Lussier joins Yung Flamingo Club and gets interviewed by Michael Mendy for a deep dive into the golden age of competitive Halo, from grinding as a pro to becoming one of the most recognizable voices in esports.

Best known for his time on Team Carbon and as a marquee MLG caster, Gandhi opens up about the rivalries, the road trips, the LAN culture, and the broadcast moments that shaped an era.

We talk skill ceilings and scrim habits, what really separates great teams from good ones, and how he navigated the jump from player to desk, finding his voice, building trust with the community, and learning to tell the story of a match in real time.

With a couple of deep cuts of course.
