Yours Truly Johnny Dollar presents “The Fathom-Five Matter, Part 3,” originally broadcast on CBS on February 29, 1956. This is episode 338 of the series and the third chapter of a five-part serial starring Bob Bailey as insurance investigator Johnny Dollar, written by Les Crutchfield and directed by Jack Johnstone.

In Miami Beach and the nearby offshore waters, Dollar continues investigating the presumed death of consulting engineer William Markey after the cabin cruiser Fathom Five burns and sinks. With a major insurance claim pending, a photograph, a silver cup, and the worries of Markey’s widow raise new questions about the official account.

Yours Truly Johnny Dollar presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
