When it comes to obedience we often think of training - being respectful and mindful of the rules and laws. Doing what you are told to avoid punishment. And usually it involves something that we do not really want to do. Now, that same obedience is a gift. It's the very power you need to run the race that God has set before you. It allows you to worship, show loyalty and demonstrate love.
In this Chapter of "Grit Dont Quit' we are going to open up the invitation and see what it means to step into obedience to God instead of running from it.

Declaration: I will run my race with tenacity. I will continue on even in those moments when it feels heavy, tiring, and I don't know which way to go. I know that God does. I know that He will guide me, protect me, sustain me and never leave me. I am obedient to where He calls me to go because I trust Him - He is a good God. I press forward because I want to obey, Quitting is not an option. I will finish my race well.
