What happens when your faith is put under pressure?
In Daniel 6, Daniel faced a choice: protect himself or remain faithful to God. But his response in the crisis wasn’t something he invented in the moment. Daniel had spent a lifetime building habits of prayer, integrity, and obedience. When the pressure came, he simply continued doing what he had always done.
In this message from our Obedient Faith series, Pastor Dan looks at how the spiritual habits we build in seasons of comfort become the places we turn in seasons of trial. Prayer was not Daniel’s last resort. It was his first response.
Trials often reveal where our dependence truly lies. We can reach for our own strength, our own solutions, and our own understanding—or we can learn to depend more deeply on the God who is always faithful.
Because God is faithful, we can confidently obey Him—even when obedience comes with a cost.
📖 Scripture: Daniel 6
In this message:
• Developing an “excellent spirit”
• Building spiritual habits before the trial comes
• Why prayer is a posture of dependence
• Choosing obedience over self-preservation
• Trusting God when human solutions aren’t enough
• How Jesus gives us victory over the enemy
Your habits in times of comfort become your comforts in times of trial.
Pray first. Trust God. Walk in obedient faith.
