Today’s Your Daily Boarding Call brings big changes in cruise dining, a milestone Alaska season, softer theme-park demand, and strong airline earnings.
Carnival Cruise Line has unveiled “The Next Course,” a new culinary strategy that includes fresh dining concepts, faster meal options, expanded menus, and more itinerary-specific food across the fleet.
Meanwhile, Holland America Line is preparing for its 80th Alaska season in 2027 with more than three dozen Heritage Tours featuring classic experiences like the White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad, Denali, Mendenhall Glacier, and Kenai Fjords.
Over at the theme parks, Universal says demand remained softer than expected during the third quarter, while Southwest Airlines reported strong earnings growth and says changes such as assigned seating, premium options, and new fees are helping boost revenue.
The Travel Tip of the Day reminds travelers to compare overall value—not just the headline price—before booking a cruise, theme park vacation, or flight.
