    2025/12/09

In this episode of Your Cup of Joy, I talk with Dr. Robyne Hanley-Dafoe, a leading resiliency scholar and award-winning author, about what resilience actually looks like in real life. We dig into her five pillars of resiliency, the role hope plays as a practical skill, and why so many of us get stuck replaying old narratives instead of moving forward.

We also explore how to support our kids without rescuing them, how to recognize when we as parents need to recalibrate, and why simple daily practices often make the biggest impact. If you’re feeling stretched thin or stuck in survival mode, this conversion is filled with actionable steps to ground and support you.

  • How a Trip to the ER Reopened Past NICU Trauma + A Wellness Journey Update
    2025/11/25

Welcome back to Your Cup of Joy! Today, I’m unpacking some big emotions as I share what unfolded when a simple afternoon at home turned into a trip to the hospital after my little guy took a fall and needed stitches. Returning to that environment resurfaced NICU memories I didn’t expect and showed me that even when we’re staying calm for our kids, the emotional impact can hit later.

You’ll also get a real update on my wellness journey: what movement, mindset, and navigating body image look like right now, and how I’m still learning to make space for my own needs in a season where everyone else feels so urgent.

Thank you so much for being here. If this episode connects with you, share your thoughts with me over on Instagram @arianajoychristie or @yourcupofjoypodcast. Remember to take care of yourself this week, even if it’s just in small ways.

  • Making Wellness Feel Simple Again with Ally Mamalider of Organic Traditions
    2025/11/11

In today’s episode of Your Cup of Joy, I’m joined by Ally Mamalider, President and second-generation founder of Organic Traditions, a wellness brand rooted in quality, purity, and making nourishment feel simple. We explore the heart behind her family’s legacy, her father’s journey of healing that sparked the brand’s creation, and how Ally is carrying that mission forward in a world where wellness can feel overwhelming.

We talk about tuning into our bodies, slowing down enough to notice what we need, and building routines that feel supportive instead of stressful. Ally shares the mindset shifts that have helped her show up as a present leader and mom, how she stays grounded in a very trend-driven industry, and why the most transformational wellness changes are often the smallest, most consistent ones.

If this episode filled your cup, I would love it if you’d share it with someone who could use a little joy today. You can also leave a rating or review, it means so much and helps the show reach more women who are seeking nourishment, encouragement, and a reminder that they’re not alone.

  • Embracing New Seasons of Motherhood: Extended Breastfeeding, Body Confidence, and Building Deeper Connections with My Kids
    2025/10/28

Welcome back to Your Cup of Joy! This episode is all about the ways I’ve been slowing down, choosing connection, and treating everyday moments like they matter, because they really do. I talk about the beautiful stage of motherhood I’m in: one where my kids have opinions, ask questions, and understand so much more than I ever realized. I’ve been connecting with them on exciting, new levels and learning what it means to speak to them as whole people, while bringing them into my world.

I also open up about a few personal topics that many of us quietly hold: extended breastfeeding, navigating identity and body image after babies, and the ways confidence comes from within, not from how our bodies change or what others think of us. Plus, I talk about play, imagination, solo events, and the reminder that sometimes the most meaningful growth happens in the smallest, most ordinary moments of our days.

I hope you can use this conversation as an invitation to show yourself gentleness and allow yourself to take up space exactly as you are. If you enjoyed this episode, please subscribe to the podcast and leave a kind review. I’ll see you next time!

  • The Power of Play: How 10 Minutes a Day Can Transform Your Parenting with Chris Mannino
    2025/10/14

How much can ten minutes of intentional play change your relationship with your child? In this episode of Your Cup of Joy, I sit down with Chris Mannino, parenting coach and author of Making It Up: A Revolutionary Way to Bond with Kids Through Play. Chris brings such a refreshing perspective on parenting, one that moves away from rigid rules and behaviour strategies and instead focuses on connection, imagination, and joy. With a background in theatre and years of experience as both a teacher and stay-at-home dad, Chris has discovered how simple shifts in play can transform relationships between parents and their children.

We talk about the power of saying “yes” to our kids’ ideas, the magic of improv in everyday parenting, and how even a few minutes of intentional play can build memories that last for years. Chris also opens up about his own journey of navigating disconnection, burnout, and the pressures of parenthood, and how his “anchor technique” helps parents find calm in the middle of the chaos.

  • The 50/30/20 Rule: What Every Woman Should Know About Money with Marissa Teeter
    2025/09/25

Today on Your Cup of Joy, I’m welcoming back my dear friend, Marissa Teeter, executive coach, business advisor, and former senior wealth executive, for her second time on the show. Our last conversation was so rich that I knew we had to do it again, and this time we’re diving deep into a topic that so many of us avoid: money.

I’ll be the first to admit that finances have always felt a little uncomfortable for me, and maybe you feel the same way. But in this episode, Marissa makes the topic approachable, empowering, and inspiring. We talk about why money is still such a taboo subject, how women can start building healthier relationships with it, and why open conversations are the key to creating more freedom and opportunity in our lives. Marissa shares practical advice on budgeting, saving, and negotiating, and she reminds us that financial well-being isn’t just about investing, it’s about aligning money with your values, relationships, and goals. We also dive into how we can model better money habits for our kids, the importance of generosity, and the power of women supporting women by sharing their financial experiences openly.

Money touches every part of our lives and the more we talk about it, the more confident we all become. Please leave a review and pass this episode along to someone in your circle so we can keep building a community of women who lead with openness and confidence.

  • Navigating the Back-to-School Season & Creating Space for What Matters
    2025/09/09

The start of September always feels like a shift, and this year it’s marked by big changes as I notice my kids step into new stages of independence. It’s a mix of emotions, and today I’m reflecting on the start of this new season, from back-to-school routines, the surprising ways community has been showing up in my life, and the little rituals that remind me to keep filling my own cup, too.

I share stories of our first real bus rides, the little but impactful ways neighbours have become friends, and how something as simple as baking with another mom turned into a joyful new ritual. I also dive into the gentle balance of routines, why they matter, how they’ve reshaped my days, and how they’ve given me space to rediscover the things I love doing and want to do more of.

Think of this episode as your seasonal check-in, a reminder to slow down and notice the small, precious moments that often get lost in the chaos. Like me, you might find yourself needing the permission to step back and ask: what truly brings me joy and how can I choose more of it?

Thank you so much for tuning in today. If this episode encouraged you, it would mean so much if you rated, reviewed, and subscribed to Your Cup of Joy. Share it with someone who’s also in the back-to-school season, and come connect with me on Instagram. I would love to hear how you’re filling your cup right now. Until next time!

On today’s episode of Your Cup of Joy, I’m sitting down with the incredible Ali Dunn: leadership coach, writer, and Enneagram expert. Ali’s journey from a high-powered career in sales to becoming a coach is full of truth, vulnerability, and wisdom, and the insights she shares about motivation, values, and self-awareness will leave you questioning how you show up in your own life.

We explore the world of the Enneagram, not just as a personality test, but as a lens to understand what drives us beneath the surface. Ali unpacks how discovering our type can transform the way we lead, parent, and even love. We also talk openly about the realities of motherhood, the tension between expectations and personal truth, and how easy it is to lose ourselves in the “shoulds” of life.
