How do you follow the Holy Spirit when you’re unsure whether you’re hearing him correctly? What happens when you step out in faith and things don’t unfold as expected?
Bev Murrell shares honestly about learning to recognise and partner with the Holy Spirit in everyday life. Through personal stories and Acts 16, she reminds us that even faithful disciples don’t always understand God’s direction the first time. Getting something wrong doesn’t mean God has abandoned us or stopped speaking.
The Holy Spirit isn’t a distant force, but God present with us, teaching, guiding and empowering us to live as witnesses through our words, choices, humility and relationships. Sometimes that witness looks miraculous; other times, it means putting aside our pride and admitting we were wrong.
This encouraging message invites us to stop demanding perfection from ourselves, pay attention to the Spirit’s prompting and adopt a healthier posture: you win some, and you learn some.
