概要

Do you have everything you're supposed to want, but still feel like something is missing? You're not broken. You've just been looking in the wrong place.

I'm Russell Davis, therapist and executive coach. In Clarity Within, I help ambitious people reconnect with their innate confidence, find genuine clarity and purpose, and build a life that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside.

I know this territory firsthand. After years of striving, and an eight-year fertility journey that brought me to a breaking point, I discovered that clarity and confidence aren't things you earn. They already live within you.

Each episode explores honest conversations and real insights that create lasting change. Not tools or techniques. Just a deeper understanding of who you are and what you're truly capable of.

The search is over. It starts within.

  • How I Went From People-Pleasing & Infertility to a Life I Love (Interview)
    2026/04/21

In this special episode, I'm sharing a full interview conversation recorded in Regent's Park, London, in which I tell my story from the beginning. I talk about growing up as a people-pleaser, always looking for approval from parents and teachers. About how a corporate career built on saying yes to everything eventually left me asking, "where's me in all of this?" About discovering I was infertile, and how that cracked something open and woke me up to how conditional my happiness had become.

I share the turning point that changed everything: checking myself into a convent for five days of silence, sitting in front of a barren vegetable patch, and realising I had a blank canvas. A chance to stop living from the outside in and start building a life that was genuinely mine.

If you're an ambitious person who's achieved a lot but feels like something is still missing, this conversation is for you.

  • You Are Not Lacking Confidence (Here's What's Actually Going On)
    2026/04/14

In this episode, I explore one of the most misunderstood ideas in personal development. I share the true nature of confidence. Watch a baby learning to walk, and you see something remarkable. No fear of failure, no comparison, no self-doubt. Not because they're unusually brave, but because they haven't yet picked up the insecure thinking that gets in the way.

We aren't born with innate confidence. We're born with a quieter mind, closer to our true selves. Over time we learn to drown that out with comparison, fear, and other people's judgments and expectations.

The formula I share in this episode is simple:

Your True Self - Contaminated Thinking = Innate Confidence.

Confidence isn't a feeling you need before you act. It's a feeling you get when you keep honouring and trusting that still, soft voice within and have the courage to act on it.

If you're tired of fighting self-doubt and feel like confidence is always just out of reach, this episode will change how you see yourself.

  • Why Success Can Feel Empty: The Goal Behind The Goal
    2026/04/07

I remember getting a big promotion at work. The congratulations from colleagues. The excitement of a new challenge and a pay rise. Then, a few days later, walking in on a Monday morning thinking, "Is this it?"

The research is clear: reaching your goals, winning the lottery, even having a baby, doesn't fundamentally change how content you feel. You return to your habitual level of happiness. Most of us are simply aiming at the wrong spot.

If you've ever worked hard to achieve something and felt a hollow emptiness when you got there, this episode is for you.

There's always a goal behind the goal. The promotion, the status, the money, these are the top of the log. Feeling secure, worthy, and whole, that's the bottom. And that's a place to come from, not a place to get to.

The emptiness you feel isn't a sign that something is wrong with you. It's a love letter from your soul.
