Transforming Perspectives | The greatest misnomer believed by most people, is that they will enter heaven when they die, so to know whether they have been accepted by God, or not! Contrarily, only the persons who have accepted God’s Grace by faith in Jesus Christ, will abide in eternity with GOD.

Heaven is a dwelling and a life, an existence in the eternal glory of Almighty GOD. Whereby, the heavenly hosts along with every form and matter such as stones, jewels and flowers, worship in continuous obeisance and exaltation of praises unto GOD. Apostle John saw in visions of the EndTimes, events of believers dwelling in heaven after being gathered in a manner similarly, of Enoch and Elijah, being taken or caught up by the living creature witnessed by the Prophet Ezekiel.

These Eschatological events identifying the EndTimes or the Last Days, represent periods of reconciliation and reckoning during Jesus Christ’s 1000 year’s reign on the earth. In which believers, called the children of God, abide in heaven from every earthly tribe, race, creed, and culture. Having been transformed as the new creation, and translated into the marvelous illumination of the light of GOD. Children being presented before God the Father by Jesus Christ overflowing with exceedingly joy. “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.” 1 John 3:1, New International Version

God’s children the same is of Yahweh, dressed by Christ in white linen, the garment of righteousness, and feasting at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, celebrating with Jesus Christ and his Bride, the Church. Also, descending with Jesus Christ to judge with him upon the earth, as Jeremiah saw in visions of the throne of judgment of heaven and was encouraged not to become dismayed, hearing the Lord say to each of us, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.” Revelation 3:20-21, King James Version

Transforming Perspectives | Intriguing, is the biblical portrait of the futuristic mile high city descending from the heavens called the New Jerusalem. Inquisitively, most believers ponder earnestly of the significance of its appearance on earth, showcasing divine wonders of the glory of its inhabitants, named ZION.

Biblical narratives foretell of the people chosen to become the stronghold of the glory of God, Zion. The foundation and foreshadowing of the multitude of nations, identifying the children of God, presented as pillars and copiousness of the holiness of God’s glory. In Hebrew called ‘‎כּבוד’ ,’כּבוד’ which is pronounced ‘kâbôd’ ‘kâbôd’. The City of David in which God’s presence once dwelt in the temple, “Nevertheless David captured the strong hold (fortress) of Zion: the same is the city of David.” 2 Samuel 5:7, Amplified Bible.

Jerusalem, the city built upon a mount, high above its enemies, adorned with the riches of God’s glory. Representing the splendor of God revealed in his people as luminaries shining in the beauty of his glory, termed ‎צבי in Hebrew, pronounced ‘tseb-ee', describing a status of prominence. Also, foretold by the prophet Isaiah of the spiritual condition of the people called Zion, faithfully standing as luminaries in the beauty of the Lord our God, exclaiming, “In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people. And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.” Isaiah 28:5-6, King James Version.

Formidably, is the term ‘doxa’ in Greek, pronounced ‘dox'-ah’ meaning honor, praise and worship from which the English word doxology is derived. John witnessed the descent of Zion, the New Jerusalem in the splendor of the glory of God, exclaiming, “And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great, high mountain, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, having the glory of God, and its radiance like a most rare jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal.” Revelation 21:10-11, American Standard Version.

Transforming Perspectives | Chronology of God’s Law, orders and decrees completing this age, culminate in the Resurrection of life of the faithful, followed by the judgment of the creature from antiquity called Satan, and of the unfaithful. Apostle John exclaims, “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Significance of these critical times impacting the world, described in Greek exposition of John’s witness of Jesus’ first coming to give life, so that no one should perish, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the one who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.” John 5:24, New American Standard Bible

Profoundly, John being divinely kept, so to also witness the encapsulation of Jesus Christ’s reign, “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.” Revelation 20:6, King James Version

Subsequently, the finality of the moment, as Jesus prior spoke of having the authority to blot out, ‘ἐξαλείφω’ in Greek, pronounced ‘exaleiphō,’ means to erase or obliterate, names from the book of life. A judgment more than, simply returning to dust in the grave, but a verdict of one’s soul to perish. “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Profundity, is the imagery in the last page, of the last chapter, of the last book of the Bible, of a glorious portrait of life, a new age begins, “Then the angel showed me the River of water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb.” Revelation 22:1, English Standard Version

Transforming Perspectives | Scriptures, demystify the imagery of pitch forks and nail clawed demons, dwelling amid fire and brimstone in the place called Hell or biblical Greek, Hades. Instead, depicts Hades not as a singularly purposed dominion under the rule of the adversaries of God but as a designation ordered by God under his sovereign rule. Scriptures, describe three realms or dimensions in which the dead, demonic, and wicked are held as captives until God’s reckoning, redemption and final judgment.

Firstly, the fallen angels that were cast out of the realm of God’s council, down into the depths of the earth. Hell, often referenced as Perdition which God spoke by the prophet Ezekiel, “I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descended into the [pit]…” (a holding place, prison or dungeon, cell or grave). She'ôl, in biblical Hebrew In the Old Testament, is defined as the world of the dead, similar to a subterranean retreat including its accessories and inmates. Many believe She'ôl as the resting place in which the dead were kept until the mystery of God’s Salvation was revealed, referencing Jesus the Christ. Apostle Paul explains in the Letter to the Ephesians of Jesus descending into the earth, so to bring captivity captive, as he ascended, inferring freeing those who were held captive by death.

Formidably, Jesus came, died and rose again, defeating death, so men would be raised into eternal life. Effectually, salvation by faith in him and from God’s final judgment in Hades, the Lake of Fire. John the Apostle, exclaims of seeing Jesus…“And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead.
