    The Lotus Flower Relaxation is a guided practice to plant tiny seeds of kind thoughts to grow into beautiful flowers. The lotus flower begins its journey down in the bottom of a muddy lake or pond. It is safe and protected there, while it waits patiently to grow towards the sun. As the lotus seed sprouts, it begins to reach for the sunlight at the top of the water. It sets down strong roots as it journeys up to the sun, and bursts through the surface of the water a beautiful blooming flower. We are like this lotus flower, beginning our journey in a safe place, while reaching for the light. Our strong roots keep us supported and secure as we wiggle through the mud and grow bigger and more colorful each day.
