On the final episode of Yep, we are going out with a bang (or a crash off a roof) by discussing what is probably the best, and arguably the darkest, episode of King of the Hill: "Pretty, Pretty Dresses" (S03E09).

In this Christmas classic, Bill Dautrieve hits rock bottom on the anniversary of Lenore leaving him, leading to a breakdown involving an iguana, a dress, and a very confused party. We discuss the "best cold open in television history," Hank's well-meaning but terrible advice to "just practice being happy," and Stephen Root’s incredible vocal performance as a weeping Bill. We also open up about why we are bringing Yep to a close, sharing personal stories about nursing school prerequisites and the healing power of collaboration.

It's Halloween in Arlen, and a local extremist is determined to cancel the holiday by using shady legal tactics and religious fear-mongering. Hank, in his ill-fitting childhood devil costume, vows to teach Bobby the true, wholesome meaning of Halloween.
