A Better Way to Find Buyers for your Products or Services

Many small business owners believe that the way to sell a lot of their products or services is to promote, promote, promote! They spend hours a week, if not a day, on social media, e-commerce websites, and other avenues trying to get the word out about their businesses!

    And rightfully so.

If this is you or someone you know, I commend you! … this way of advertising has been engrained in us as the BEST and EASIEST way to sell. But is it?

Today, I’m going to talk about a better way to grow your business, one that will give you your time back, and help you make more sales in your awesome small business.

When you offer your product or service in anyway, social media, advertising, etc… You begin the customers journey into your world. The customer journey is simple, but you MUST know it, and continually live in it as an entrepreneur in order to continually refine your business… why?

To take lots of time off! And sell lots of stuff.

Knowing your customer journey is the first place to start, and I have a free resource for you to download that will walk you though laying out the customer journey for your business. Go to www.customerjourneyladder.com to grab that resource.

Here are the 5 categories to a simple customer journey.

1 Attract- What are the activities you do on a daily or weeky basis to attract prospects?

    2) Connect- What are the ways in which you connect with these prospects

3)Convert -How are you then converting the prospect from a prospect to a buyer.

    4) Sell -What does your sales process include?

    5) Follow-Up What is your follow up communication plan for your past buyers?

I have a free 4-page resource for you that will help you lay out your current customer journey. You'll be able to find the gaps and end frustrations.

  • How to take advice from Mentors, 3 great ways! EPS: 23

How to take advice from Mentors, 3 great ways! EPS: 23

How do we know what advice to take from our mentors and use and what advice to leave?

Not even the most experienced successful entrepreneurs know it all!

How do they choose what advice to listen to and act on, and what to pass by?

I’m a huge fan of speeding up the path to success! Are you? I’m a learner and want to listen, watch and soak in what the big gurus have done to find success. Etc….

I had a conversation with my mentors when I was a brand new Realtor, and I will share this story with you. What did I learn in that conversation back in 2002 that showed me the importance of having one ear closed and the other one half open? I learned 3 very important lessons that day.

    1) Be careful who you share things with!

    2) The customer relationship has no time limits.

    3) I can design my business the way I want to.

    Taking advice is an art.

    Happy to serve you!

  • 8 Ways to Slow Down in Business Part 2 Eps: 22
    2023/01/04

8 Ways to Slow Down in Business, Even if You Think You Can't Part 2

It is very important to slow down either physically or mentally as business owners. Today I will go over ways 5 through 8.  Episode #21 will go over the first 4 ways you can slow down in your small business.

    1. Delegate. Delegating doesn’t always mean paying someone to help you with something.

    2. Create a new system or refine your processes.

    3. Stop hustling. This means to stop hurrying, pushing through, forcing, selling aggressively.

    4. Take more vacation time. Clearly defining what “vacation” means to you is important. One thing I recommend is to take a vacation before a vacation. I explain that in episode #21

    5. Multitask on the right things. Yes, we all multitask, and it is helpful, no matter what you hear, but you must do it the right way.

    6. Planning and productivity. Take time to make time.

    7. Set better boundaries. Are your boundaries to keep things out or to keep you away from things?

    8. Be consistent. Consistency makes you skilled and efficient which creates more time in your schedule.

I invite you to a facebook  community for small business owners and service professionals who are Rockin’ It out there! Is that you?  If you need a little extra support when it comes to growing your business and spending more time with those you love, and you want a community that you can pop-in and pop-out of with no spamming, I invite you to Business Owners ROCK! https://www.facebook.com/groups/businessownersrock/

"Today be Thankful and think how rich you are. Your family is priceless, your time is gold, and your health is wealth." Zig Ziglar

Happy New Year! Here is to your goals, your dreams, and your vacations.

    In service to you,
