She seeks wool, and flax, and works willingly with her hands.

Proverbs 31:13

A new podcast from the Grace Road Church Women’s Ministry, hosted by Danielle Marzano and Andrea Burke.

Each week, Grace Road Women, friends, and special guests share conversations that build on our women’s ministry teachings and explore topics that matter deeply to us.

Our hope is to offer a thoughtful resource for the women of our church—one that encourages biblical womanhood, strengthens biblical literacy, and models humble transparency by grace through faith.

  • A Time for everything: Resolving Expectations with Tina Holmsten
    2025/11/24

Tina Holmsten is married to Dan Holmsten and is the a mother to adult children. Tina actively serves our church through leading a long-standing Grow Group from her home, mentoring young adults, and humbly serving behind the scenes.

Tina’s life has been a beautiful depiction of being willing to bring God glory in any season we find ourselves.Join us for a refreshing conversation with both conviction and good reminders.conviction and repeated reminders. Trust God’s sovereignty and wait on Him!

    Reflection Questions:

1.) The path God has us on is straight, but like Andrea mentioned - some parts of the path may seem mountainous. Reflect on the season you are in and seasons past. Which seasons were dark, bright, mountainous or valley-like?

2.) What ways have you surrendered your dreams or ideals to the sovereignty of God over your life?

3.) Tina encourages us to lower our expectations! Take some time to reflect on what you genuinely expected from God and people, and how it may or may not reflect the truth of scripture.

  • Idle Time is not Rest with Abbey Sitterley
    2025/11/17

Abbey and Danielle discuss idle time and practical ways to intentionally rest well. It seems the only people resting well are the ones approaching it intentionally.. Abbey and Danielle contemplate routines, discipline, and work/life balance. Is work/life balance even a thing? Idle time can result in sin, like endless scrolling, procrastinations, and our proclivity to choose laziness over the hard work we are called to do.

Reynolds Price says “the whole point of learning about the human race presumably is to give it mercy.” If you are feeling so caught in the entanglement of idleness, feeling like years have been wasted and time has been lost. SHAME OFF YOU! YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

In Joel 2:25 God says, “He will restore the time the locusts have eaten.” Even in our wandering and disobedience, God is compassionate, faithful, and committed to us. May this episode encourage you to reengage with the assignment God has given you!
