The sermon teaches that Christian generosity is not ultimately about money or the size of the gift, but about recognizing that everything we have comes from God and voluntarily using what He has given us to meet the needs of others. Drawing from 2 Corinthians 8–9 and the manna in Exodus, the pastor emphasizes that God intentionally gives people different levels of resources so that those with abundance can supply those who have need, with generosity measured by sacrifice rather than dollar amount. Finally, believers are encouraged to give as an act of worship, make financial commitments carefully and honorably, keep the commitments they do make, and trust God rather than money for their future provision.
