What happens when unexplained UFO encounters turn into years of fear, isolation, and spiritual confusion?

In this episode of Witness the Wonder, Christina Smith welcomes Jason Ford, author of The Divine Intervention UFO: Chronicles for Christ, to share his extraordinary Christian testimony.

Jason describes an encounter with a mysterious light over the California coast in 2018. What initially felt peaceful and euphoric became the beginning of years of experiences he struggled to understand, including recurring sightings, sleep paralysis, and growing personal turmoil.

As his life unraveled, Jason battled alcoholism, lost much of what he had built, and eventually found himself living out of his car. But his story didn't end there.

Jason shares how his search for answers led him to Jesus Christ, what changed when he began pursuing a relationship with God, and why he now believes biblical discernment is essential when evaluating spiritual experiences.

In this conversation:

- Jason's first UFO encounter and the mysterious passage of 45 minutes

- Recurring sightings, sleep paralysis, and unexplained experiences

- The personal struggles that followed

- How Jason came to faith in Jesus

- Spiritual warfare and the importance of testing experiences against Scripture

- Recognizing God's work even in life's darkest seasons

A note about this conversation: Jason shares his personal experiences and interpretations. Scripture does not identify UFOs as demonic. Our purpose is to explore his testimony while encouraging biblical discernment and keeping the focus on Jesus Christ.

What do you do when you've prayed for something to change and it doesn't?

What would you do if you saw a 12-foot shadow figure walking out of your sons' bedroom? And what if the person who told you to confront it in Jesus' name was a witch?

In this episode of Witness the Wonder, Christina Smith sits down with broadcaster, author, and storyteller James F. Williams Jr. to explore his extraordinary journey through spiritual warfare, frightening paranormal encounters, and discovering his authority in Jesus Christ.

At just 18 years old, James found himself in a desperate place. He shares an encounter with God that he believes redirected his life and set him on a journey he never anticipated.

Years later, as frightening experiences began unfolding in his home, James searched for answers. Surprisingly, some of the people who pointed him toward Scripture and the authority of Jesus came from the very world of the paranormal.

James shares what happened when he began praying through the Psalms, the terrifying encounter with a towering shadow figure, and the unexpected phone call that challenged him to stand on what he believed.

But this conversation goes beyond spiritual warfare. It's about growing in intimacy with God, recognizing His presence, and discovering why Jesus, not darkness, deserves our attention.

IN THIS CONVERSATION:

- A desperate encounter with God at 18 years old

- The frightening paranormal experiences that challenged James's understanding of faith

- An unexpected introduction to the power of praying Scripture

- The 12-foot shadow figure that appeared in his home
