Ryan Wilson and Ran Carthon hand out quarter-season grades for all 32 first-round picks from the 2026 NFL Draft. Which rookies are already living up to the hype? Who has exceeded expectations? And which first-rounders need to show more as the season continues? Ryan and Ran break down the early returns on Arvell Reese, Sonny Styles, Caleb Downs, Ruben Bain Jr., Kenyon Sadiq, Makai Lemon, KC Concepcion, Peter Woods and the rest of the 2026 first round. It’s a full rookie report card on With the First Pick.

Ryan Wilson and Ran Carthon re-draft all 6 QBs that went in the first round in the 2024 NFL Draft and then make the case for Jeremiah Smith vs. Colin Simmons as the real battle for #1 overall pick in 2027.

Ryan Wilson and former NFL GM Ran Carthon dive into the biggest names shaping the 2027 NFL Draft. The guys break down Trinidad Chambliss’ rising draft stock and where he belongs in the quarterback conversation before debating which QBs could go ahead of Arch Manning. They take a closer look at Darian Mensah, evaluate Arch’s game and compare him to his uncle Eli Manning. Plus, could Ohio State superstar Jeremiah Smith make the case to be the No. 1 overall pick? Ryan and Ran close out the show by ranking the loaded 2027 wide receiver class.

In today’s episode CBS Sports Lead Draft Analyst Ryan Wilson and Former NFL GM Ran Carthon go through Ryan’s updated QB rankings for the 2027 NFL Draft. The guys also discuss which QB’s have had the best performance through 2 weeks of the college football season.
