Some stories are difficult to tell. This is one of them.

After some time away, I'm returning to my podcast with perhaps the most personal and emotional episode I've ever recorded.

Two months ago today, I lost my mom.

In this special episode, I open my heart and share the experience of losing her, the memories of the life she lived, and what these past two months have been like without her.

I talk about love, loss, grief, and the emotions that come with saying goodbye to someone who has been part of your entire life.

This isn't a scripted conversation. It's simply me, speaking from the heart. There are moments when I become emotional, moments when the words don't come easily, and moments when I struggle to hold back the tears. But I wanted to leave those moments in, because grief isn't something we can rehearse or control.

This episode isn't only about losing my mom. It's also about remembering her, celebrating her life, and learning how to move forward while carrying her love with me.

If you've ever lost someone you love, perhaps you'll recognize some of these feelings.

This episode is dedicated to my mom.

I miss you. I love you. And I will carry you with me, always. ❤️

With love,

Jr.

Episode 3: King Studios

After taking the leap to move to Belgium, the next challenge was even bigger: building something from nothing.

In this episode, I share the story behind the creation of King Studios—from the first idea and the uncertainty of starting a business in a new country to opening the doors and believing in a dream that many couldn't yet see.

This isn't a story about overnight success. It's about taking risks, overcoming setbacks, learning along the way, and staying committed when the outcome is anything but certain.

King Studios became much more than a Pilates studio. It became a place that changed my life, connected me with an incredible community, and showed me what is possible when passion meets perseverance.

If you've ever dreamed of starting something of your own, wondered what happens behind the scenes of a successful business, or needed a reminder that every great journey starts with a single decision, this episode is for you.

Welcome to the story of how King Studios began.

Leaving behind everything you've ever known takes more than courage—it takes faith.

In this episode of With L. King Jr., I share the story of the biggest leap of my life: leaving the United States and starting over in Belgium. From saying goodbye to family and friends to navigating the overwhelming paperwork, visas, and uncertainty that came with an international move, this wasn't just a change of address—it was a complete reinvention.

I also talk about what helped me stay grounded through the challenges, why keeping a clear head matters when life feels uncertain, and how believing in yourself can carry you through moments when nothing else seems certain.

If you've ever dreamed of starting over, moving to a new place, chasing a different life, or simply taking a leap into the unknown, this episode is for you.

Because sometimes the biggest opportunities begin with one brave decision to leap.
