Feather your bangs and get ready to jump to lightspeed, because this week the boys are traveling through space and time to 1977! A futuristic year that introduced the world to Star Wars, the Atari 2600, and the incredibly futuristic way to celebrate known as the High Five.

The show turns the big 4-0 this week, and it's time to grow up and put away childish things. Because with great power comes great responsibility. Journey back to 2002, when Spider-Man was the number one movie in the US, American Idol first debuted on TV, and Nickelback was reminding us all what we really are.

Today on the show, Mark & Trey go all the way back to 1958. This was a very tropical-themed year, with folks playing with Hula Hoops imported from Australia, watching South Pacific at the theaters, and eating coconut flavored syrup on their pancakes at IHOP.

This week on the show, Mark & Trey take an extra long look at a very nostalgic year for them both: 1995! The boys talk about the launch of the Playstation, the murder of Selena, and possibly the best Batman film of all time, Batman Forever.

Easter Sunday is coming up, so the boys went back to a very Bible-centric year: 1966! The Mamas and the Papas were singing about walking into church, John Lennon was getting into hot water over his thoughts on Jesus, and the number one movie in the country was called The Bible, actually.

Today on the show, the boys take their shortest trip down memory lane yet, because they're telling you all about 2015! Audiences returned to Jurassic Park for the first time in 14 years, Sir Paul McCartney returned to the billboard top ten for the first time in 29 years, and the Warriors took home the NBA championship for the first time in 40 years.

This week the boys head to a year when the country was called to pick sides in a lot of big battles: 1973. There was the Battle of the Sexes between Bobby Riggs and Billie Jean King, the legal battle of Roe v. Wade, and the battle between children and their parents about whether they were allowed to watch The Exorcist.

Mark & Trey take a look at the headlines in 2009 and find quite a bit to talk about. From the Miracle on the Hudson to the Balloon Boy Hoax, this was a year all about sensational news stories. They cap things off by talking about the number one movie at the box office, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
