  • Secrets of Successful Language Learning & Benefits of Multilingualism | ft SimonePols | EP #14
    2023/04/05

In this episode, I have the pleasure of interviewing Simone Pols, a polyglot who can communicate fluently in 8 different languages and is always learning new ones. He shares his craziest language learning experience of learning Portuguese in a weekend and having a conversation later. As an Italian citizen who has lived in Germany, he understands the power of languages in integrating into new cultures, connecting with locals, and gaining new perspectives. Simone believes in Nelson Mandela's quote that speaking in someone's language goes straight to their heart, which is why he's building a lifestyle around his online language coaching program and freelance Project Management work. Join me in this fascinating conversation as we explore the tips and tricks to mastering a new language as an adult.

  • Everything is a REMIX, Creativity Is Derivative, Following Your Bliss | ft. Kirby Ferguson | EP #11
    2022/10/13

Kirby through his work has lifted pressure from the minds of so many creatives. Everything that needs to be said under the sun has been said, then what do we do, can we never be original? You can be by infusing your work with your personality, your zing, your unique take on it. Nobody can be you, they don't have the same life experiences as you, they haven't lived your life story, your life moments, they might have similar lifes but not the same.
    .
Everything is a remix zooms in on the idea that nothing is original, we might think that this is me who created this but if someone would break it down, trace it back we might come across the underlying source of inspiration. The idea is don't stress on being original, feel free to copy, combine, and transform. Keep creating, be in motion, execute, get inspired. Follow your bliss, because in the zone of motion some day you will see your unique concoction of creation.

Flowfam is equal to freedom for me and Gavin through his mastery of Flow using Voice and knowing the art of Facilitation invites the flowticipants into the non-judgemental space to speak their own truth, using the power of their voice and music.
    .
I remember being introduced to Gavin in the May of 2021 and since then life has not been the same. I have cried, belly laughed, found my creative self, and experimented with expressing my truth rawthentically.

  • Ditch Others Timeline Of A Happy Life, Create Your Own | ft. Terri Trespicio | EP #9
    2022/09/08

I remember listening to Terri's Ted Talk Back In 2020 and it truly helped me ease the pressure from following this conventional idea of following your passion. Watching that video made me think how amazing it would be to chat with someone who actually is creating her own thought process, ditching the ideas conventional ideas and thinking for herself. And it happened in this podcast.
    .
In this episode, we spoke on how to think for yourself, what questions to ask, which ideas to challenge, marrying when you really want to not out of fear, why it is okay to still be figuring out, and many more.
At the end of the podcast, you will feel a little less. pressure and more in control of your own life. Plus Terri is absolutely hilarious and an amazing speaker to keep you hooked with her storytelling and insightful answers.

  • Sexually Abused By Step Father, Growing Up in Kamathipura Mumbai| ft. Sheetal Jain | EP #‪7
    2021/05/07

Our Guest for Today's Show is a Drummer, Speaker, and an Agent For Social Change. Her story is one of hardships, abuse, and violence but also of grit, resilience, and hope. She was born in India's oldest and Mumbai's largest red-light area, Kamathipura. Daughter of a sex worker, she had a rough childhood, bouncing between NGOs and schools. She was marginalized, bullied in school, and often mocked by saying "a sex worker's daughter will simply become a sex worker". Amidst all this, she found herself being sexually abused by her Step-Father, not once but several times.

She grew up from being a timid, shy girl with low self-esteem into a confident and courageous young woman with Kranti's help. Kranti is an NGO that empowers girls from Mumbai's red-light areas. Please help me in welcoming a true Krantikaari, a girl who strongly believes that her background is not her weakness in fact her biggest strength, the brave, the bold, the courageous Sheetal Jain.
