Long before online sportsbooks became a massive part of the sports world, Cohen and his partners launched World Sports Exchange from Antigua in the 1990s. In 2000, he became the first person convicted in U.S. federal court under the Federal Wire Act for operating an online gambling company, despite WSEX being licensed and regulated in Antigua.
