Synopsis. À Windbrook, en 1948, les habitants commencent étrangement à se comporter comme des machines. Alors que la ville entière semble basculer dans une inquiétante normalité, Samuel Knox tente de comprendre ce qui se passe mais bientôt, ses propres souvenirs et ses certitudes commencent à lui échapper. Et si le dernier homme de Windbrook n’était déjà plus tout à fait humain ?
Une atmosphère qui évoque les univers troublants de La Quatrième Dimension, les écrits de Philip K. Dick ou Ray Bradbury ainsi que les compositions musicales de John Foxx (Underpass) et Clock DVA (The Hacker).
