Following their graduation from Oakwood High School, two friends named Neia and Kira reflect on their shared past while sitting across from their now-empty campus. While their other friends have departed for human endeavors like the Navy or university, Neia prepares to return to her true home in the Willow Mist Isle Kingdom. The dialogue reveals that Neia is actually half High Fae, a secret she shared with Kira but kept from others who lacked belief in the mystical. As they prepare to leave the mortal world, a messenger known as Elder Vix arrives to summon them back to the realm of the High Fae Queen. Kira discovers she has been granted a royal title by the High Council, signaling that her future will involve official duties alongside her friend. Ultimately, the pair agrees to move to the magical kingdom together while promising to return to their small town for occasional escapes.
