  • Proof that the SEO game has completely changed: 9 views, page one, AI Overview
    2026/09/22

Simon Young (Question.Marketing) shows live Google proof from a Stitch AI client knowledge-gap publish: bulk WhatsApp marketing and UK PECR / data-protection content.

On film: a Google Search result for the companion YouTube video showing 9 views · 4 days ago, and Google AI Overviews citing the Stitch blog and video. Queries shown include whatsapp PECR regulations in the uk and the long-tail bulk WhatsApp UK compliance question.

Edit note: this episode audio follows the jump-cut master (tangent ~3:00-10:30 removed; light typing scrub before the long-tail paste).

Soft / spoken-only (not title hard-claims): Simon also says on camera that the video went to the top of YouTube in about 20 minutes. Visual receipt locked for packaging remains Google SERP + AI Overview, not a YouTube.com ranking screenshot. 72 hours is not spoken on this film.

  • Proof that Google and ChatGPT are NOT reading the same internet
    2026/09/16

Simon Young walks a GEOforge study of 10.2 million AI citations, published 16 September 2026. The film argument is simple: ChatGPT and Google are not reading the same internet. Social citation is largely a Google-side phenomenon. ChatGPT barely cites YouTube. Engagement looks more like a threshold than a ladder.

Receipts on film / brief: ChatGPT ~42 YouTube citations of ~1.06M (~0.004%); Google AI Mode YouTube ~6.34%; Google AI Overviews YouTube ~6.63% on film (brief 6.83%); social ~8.8% of the corpus; LinkedIn citations often ~35 days after publish.

Disclosure for show notes (not spoken as a formal partnership line on camera in this take): Question.Marketing delivers AEO and GEO work in partnership with GEOforge, who produced the study. Method published.

  • Which tools track AI search share of voice and citations? (Episode 2)
    2026/09/15

Episode 2. We unpack why many AEO and AI visibility tools give a thin share of voice: too few queries per model, real AI credit burn for robust sampling, and the missing prompt-volume data that Google Keyword Planner used to give marketers for traditional search. Named platforms include ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode. We also touch localised B2B prompting and how AI visibility tracking cost differs from SEMrush or Ahrefs. Tool list coming on Question.Marketing.
