"The Adventures of Wild Bill Hickok."Here's some information about it:
  • Stars: It starred Guy Madison as Wild Bill Hickok and Andy Devine as his sidekick, Jingles P. Jones. Their partnership was a key part of the show's appeal, with Devine's distinctive raspy voice being particularly memorable.
  • Air Dates: The radio series aired from April 1, 1951, to December 1954 on the Mutual Broadcasting System, and then in syndication from July 1955 to February 1956.
  • Sponsor: The show was famously sponsored by Kellogg's cereals, who often featured images of Madison and Devine on their cereal boxes and offered mail-in premiums related to the show.
  • Format: The show was a Western adventure, generally aimed at a younger audience, featuring Wild Bill and Jingles encountering villains and bringing justice to the Old West.
  • Television Connection: The radio show ran concurrently with a highly successful television series, also titled "The Adventures of Wild Bill Hickok," which featured the same lead actors.

Whether it’s facing outlaws, solving mysteries, or riding the open range, Wild Bill Hickok remains an enduring icon of frontier courage and adventure.Copyright Jacab R Singer 戯曲・演劇 社会科学
