概要
Sarah Buzzard and her romantic partner Naira "Jen" Whitaker brutally murdered Ryan Zimmerman, who had previously moved into their Columbus, Ohio apartment under complicated relationship dynamics. Following the September 2015 homicide, the pair dismembered Zimmerman's body, discarded his remains across multiple locations, and shockingly kept his head in a taped-up pot that they transported during subsequent moves. Although investigators initially faced dead ends and conflicting alibis from Sarah's then-husband Corey, years of DNA testing eventually linked the discovered human remains to Zimmerman. When authorities finally closed in during 2021 interviews, Jen Whitaker tragically committed suicide in front of officers before facing trial. Consequently, Sarah Buzzard ultimately confessed, pleaded guilty to aggravated murder, and received a sentence of life in prison with the possibility of parole.
