What happens when the life you built starts crushing you and you finally decide you can’t live that way anymore?

I was stuck in a situation I desperately wanted out of, and the process of getting out was making me lose my mind. We had been looking for a house for so long, and every month we stayed in the city felt heavier. I knew I needed a change, but I couldn’t just snap my fingers and make it happen.

This is about that weird, frustrating period of feeling completely trapped in a life that wasn’t working for me anymore, and how getting to the other side of it changed me more than I expected. The city was crushing me, the house search was driving me insane, and I was ready for something to finally give.
