Diane Canada reflects on Young Washington and the difference between “intelligence” and true wisdom. Through George Washington’s early ambitions, disappointments, and unexpected responsibilities, she explores how God can use hardship and delay to prepare us for purpose and how there are so many parallels playing out in our culture today. What if the thing that made George Washington feel like an outsider helped shape his greatness? Diane connects his story to a faith-filled reminder: what feels like a limitation may be preparing you for what’s ahead, and wisdom cannot be found in any book.

Diane Michel Canada is the founder of Lady Up America. She teaches Christian conservative moms how to gracefully win hearts to Jesus with her signature Lady Up America techniques.
