Why is it so hard to just move on?
Sometimes moving on isn't about leaving something you no longer want. Sometimes you're moving on from something you loved, something you were committed to, something you were loyal to, or even a future you genuinely wanted.
In this episode, I explore the grief of losing a dream, the identity shifts that can happen when the life you expected is no longer your life, and why moving forward can feel more like abandonment than freedom for a while.
Moving on can mean learning to trust yourself again, letting go of the need for everyone to understand you, and making choices based on who you're becoming rather than what you've lost.
Sometimes you don't know where you're going. You only know you can't go back.
And sometimes, that's enough to take the next step.
