If you have heard that it's as easy to manifest one dollar as it is to manifest one billion, you may have wondered why manifesting big money feels so much harder in practice.

In this episode, I explore an alternative possibility: what makes something feel easy or hard to manifest may come down to how familiar it feels.

We look at the two kinds of expectation that manifestation advice tends to blur together, why expecting less can work like an insurance policy against potential heartbreak, and how the illusory truth effect from psychology helps explain why our limiting beliefs feel so certain. I share a few personal stories, from a twenty dollar bill I once unexpectedly found on my balcony to a sentence my grandmother never knew I overheard. I also offer a practical belief ladder for gently moving your baseline around money, one rung at a time.
