In this episode of Becoming More Like Jesus, we take a deeper look at Jesus’ powerful words in Matthew 5:17–20 and what they mean for our lives today. Did Jesus come to do away with the law—or to fulfill it? And what does that mean for how we live?
As we continue from last week’s call to be the light of the world, we explore how obedience, practice, and a wholehearted approach to Scripture shape us into people who truly reflect Christ. Jesus doesn’t lower the bar—He raises it, calling us into a deeper, more transformative righteousness that goes beyond outward behavior and reaches the heart.
We’ll wrestle with challenging truths: why all of Scripture matters, how Jesus fulfills the law, and what it looks like to faithfully live in light of His Kingdom today. Following Jesus isn’t easy—but it leads to a restored, grace-filled life that changes not only us, but the world around us.
