This message invites us into the heart of November, a season marked by gratitude, with a reminder of the One we should be most thankful for: Jesus. Drawing from passages across Scripture, this sermon explores three powerful reasons for this gratitude. First, we see that Jesus is the fulfillment of prophecy, the One foretold from Genesis to Isaiah to Daniel, proof that God always keeps His promises. Second, Jesus stands as the ultimate demonstration of God's love, the One who died for us “while we were still sinners,” revealing a love not earned but freely given. Finally, Jesus offers the guarantee of eternal life, a gift He secures, sustains, and protects, promising that no one can snatch us from His hand.
Through humor, practical examples, and rich biblical teaching, this sermon reminds us that if Jesus is what we cling to, pursue, and love above all, we will discover a life more abundant than we ever imagined.
