Too many evenings racing the street lights
Got get back, don’t need another of the fights
Old man, didn’t understand, drive you up the walls
We got wheels, spun the miles back to cruise the Falls
Who’ll be the first of us to smile and shed a tear
Too long my friend since we’ve had each other near
Beds in a loft, T-top flying away going down the road
This time it’s your old man who got to explode
Oh! Man we were a handful, damn I miss C-Guy!
Too many days, too many friends have gone by
Who’ll be the first of us, damn you know it’s me
Family can’t be complete without the whole tree
Apples fallen to the ground, grandma would grin
Takes good and bad to make it whole, toss ‘em in
Football flattened on the road, Mickey’s Caddy catching a ball
Her yard, her laugh, I feel such love remembering it all
