For our 200th episode of Hot Topic Bold Talk, I am joined by attorney Richard G. Wilson to examine a case that raises questions extending far beyond the communities involved.
Following months of discussing election laws, voting rights, and constitutional challenges, Richard and I decided it was time to examine another important responsibility of our government: protecting our environment while respecting the rights of businesses operating within our free-enterprise system.
Our discussion centers on County Commissioners of Boulder County and City of Boulder v. Suncor Energy USA, Inc. and Exxon Mobil Corporation, a case that has reached the Supreme Court of the United States.
