In Episode 18 of The Proceeding Word, Ps Brian Heath and Emily Braithwaite explore one of the most important questions any person can ask: Who is Jesus really?
This episode looks beyond opinions and cultural ideas and examines Jesus through Scripture, history, prophecy, and personal revelation. Ps Brian unpacks Jesus’ question to His disciples in Matthew 16 and explains why every person must decide for themselves who Jesus is.
The conversation explores the difference between knowing about Jesus and knowing Him personally, the role of revelation from God, and the biblical foundation of the church. Ps Brian also discusses historical evidence for Jesus, Old Testament prophecies fulfilled in Christ, and the famous conclusion that Jesus was either a liar, a lunatic, or the Lord.
