The MLS Western Conference playoff race is WIDE OPEN.
We’re breaking down the teams sitting right around the playoff line and deciding who we actually trust to make the postseason.
Colorado is trying to hold onto a guaranteed playoff position, while the LA Galaxy and Seattle currently occupy the Wild Card spots. But Portland, Real Salt Lake and San Diego are right behind them—and there’s very little room for anyone to slip up.
Which teams are legitimate playoff contenders? Who has the best chance of making a late run? Which team currently above the line could collapse? And ultimately, WHO’S IN and WHO’S OUT?
We’ll break down the standings, recent form, remaining schedule and make our picks for the Western Conference playoff field.
Let us know who YOU think gets in!
