Nine survivors descend into shadow, their names already carved into fate's ledger. Someone knew they were coming—knew their exact number—before they arrived. Now, as alarms echo through kobold warrens and danger stirs in unexplored depths, the party must confront a terrible question: are they heroes, or carefully placed pieces?

Stripped of weapons and chained in darkness, the party claws toward freedom—but liberation brings only deeper questions. A mysterious ledger and fresh tally marks suggest something hunted them into this dungeon. Now, with enemies at their heels and one member still unaccounted for, they face a terrible truth: they may have escaped the cage, but not the hunt.

The dungeon's secrets unravel—a single shadowed hand commands this labyrinth. But knowledge comes at terrible cost as the party's gambit transforms them from hunters into the hunted, now imprisoned in darkness with an unseen architect closing in.

Something intelligent watches from the depths. When the party discovers a captive of inhuman strength and descends past cryptic warnings of transformation, they uncover a threshold into unmeasured darkness—where an ancient presence counts their every step, and the real test awaits below.

The complex watches. Mirrors deceive, measurements repeat, and something has been keeping meticulous records—Fischer's name among them. As magical reserves dwindle and allies fall silent, the party stands before a sealed door, unaware what price their survival already owes.

A ledger whispers impossible futures. A cell stands empty—its occupant impossibly strong, impossibly gone. Now, bearing cursed artifacts and pursued by questions older than the dungeon itself, the party must decide: descend deeper into unmapped darkness, or confront what the vellum's familiar script truly means?

Deeper in the dungeon's heart, a horrifying discovery awaits: the party finds themselves catalogued by forces unknown, their names inscribed alongside the living and the dead. As a mysterious ledger reveals its terrible purpose, they must choose what price to pay—and what debts they're willing to owe.

Deeper in the shrine's heart, the party confronts impossible truths—a sarcophagus bearing a familiar name, wights clawing from darkness, and forty missing corpses. Mysterious forces drain and restore their magic while an iron seal waits, marked with sigils from their own documents.
